Nilayoram - An Ayurvedic Experience

WELCOME TO NILAYORAM – WHERE THE TIMELESS WISDOM OF AYURVEDA IS CELEBRATED.
Nilayoram Ayurveda Retreat – A Premium PNNM Healing Initiative
Carrying the very essence of its name, Nilayoram is a haven of tranquillity located about 34 kilometres north of Thrissur, the cultural capital of Kerala, and just 4 kilometres from the renowned Kerala Kalamandalam, Cheruthuruthy. Nestled on a two-acre landscape along the heritage-rich banks of the Nila River, it is surrounded by lush greenery and serene natural beauty. Designed with a philosophy of understated elegance, Nilayoram’s architecture and interiors strike a balance between simplicity, refinement, and comfort. At Nilayoram, we practice authentic Ayurveda in its most traditional form, ensuring a holistic healing experience.
Reconnect with nature, restore your spirit.

Nilayorams specialized designers have worked together to deliver a masterpiece of compelling simplicity in architecture coupled with sophistication in finishing and furnishing. The buildings carry an aesthetic look with a great deal of privacy and tradition charm while all the octagonal rooms provide a better view of Bharathapuzha and the lush, verdant surroundings. All the rooms are air-conditioned and totally spotless. The bathrooms are fitted with top class accessories and equipment to maintain high hygienic conditions. Separate treatment facility is provided for healthcare programmes like ayurveda to keep the resort building exclusively for living.

Elegantly furnished bedrooms with airconditioning ensure the best in comfort and accommodation. An indoor auditorium, in the center of the resort building, gives easy access for a guest to watch cultural art forms performed by Kerala Kalamandalam artistes. The auditorium is also used for yoga sessions and meditation classes. It opens to the vast garden area and gives fantastic view of the stream that flows along the resort boundary. Being simply in the auditorium itself is a nice experience and relaxing.

Nilayorams multicuisine restaurant serves continental and typical Kerala style food in a very hygienic environment. The dining area, set on a vast split level balcony, overlooks the garden and Bharathapuzha on one side and the indoor auditorium to the other allowing the guest to enjoy their food both from the culinary and cultural aspects. This area also receives a swift flow of breeze around the year and indeed that makes the place more enjoyable. Since the seating arrangement is limited to 12 persons only, the guest feels the place very private and attentive.
